Baat Cheet with Curator Qamar Adamjee

Utilizing the special exhibition, Yoga: The Art of Transformation, as a point of departure, this short, dynamic talk, or Baat Cheet, focuses on California's unique role in the adoption, evolution, and popularization of yoga today. 

Qamar Adamjee is Malavalli Family Foundation Associate Curator of Art of the Indian Subcontinent at the Asian Art Museum, where she has co-curated the institution's presentation of Yoga: The Art of Transformation. Qamar earned her doctorate in art history from New York University's Institute of Fine Arts (2011) and holds an MBA in marketing from Karachi University (Pakistan).
