Book a School Tour

Due to museum construction some galleries will be temporarily closed starting in 2018. During the spring semester, we will have limited capacity and programming.

  • Please submit a separate request for each tour.

  • Requests are processed on a first-come first-served basis.

  • Please allow 1 month to receive your email confirmation. 

  • Guided tours must be booked at least 8 weeks in advance. 
  • Guided tours are full through April 2018.
  • College and university groups, use our College Groups Booking Form to schedule your visit.

Program Request

Teachers on Teacher-Guided visits are expected to plan their own tours. Please describe your goals, plan, and/or activities for a Teacher-Guided visit.
Entry times vary by program. Groups may not enter until the designated entry time.
e.g. “I must go on the same day as Mr. Johnson because we are sharing a bus.”

Group Information

A minimum of 1 adult for every 10 students for grades K-8 or 1 adult for every 15 students for grades 9-12 is required.
Most guided tours have a maximum capacity of 35 or 60 students. If you have more than 60 students, please provide a detailed explanation of your scheduling needs in the "Other Scheduling Requests" field so that we can determine how to best accommodate your group.
Do you have any English language learners in your group? Please indicate what non-English native languages your students speak.
