Through a series of lessons, students will investigate the Cyrus Cylinder and its message in the context of history and their world today.
Cyrus II of Persia (Cyrus the Great) expanded the Persian Achaemenid Empire (550-330 BCE) to reach from Central Asia to the Eastern Mediterranean, creating the largest empire the world had ever seen.
